The stage held the DJ and a funky setup including a dress form, a pile of coat hangers, and a saran wrapped couch. This top photo is of cofounders Andi Eaton and Nick Landry announcing the location for NOLAFW, the Ogden Museum of Art.
There was also a photo booth set up, which you know I'm a big fan of! Each designer's piece would grace the stage for a song or two, then hed to the photo booth for some quick shots.
Sophomore by Chrissie Miller and Madeline Von Froomer
Varela + Brooks by Isabela Varela
Jolie & Elizabeth by Jolie Benson

Other designers that presented, but aren't pictured are listed on the NOLAFW website.
Other highlights of the night included running into some of my favorite southern fashion bloggers, Christy from Slow Southern Style and Dorothy from No(la) More Chains, as well as Susan from Nola.com.
For more information on NOLA Fashion Week remember to check the website and follow on twitter. There will also be workshops that you can attend. The first one has been announced, a chance to work with the designers behind Jolie & Elizabeth as they give their insight and wisdom on launching your own line. Tickets can be purchased here and space is limited.
I'll be anxiously awaiting for the week to come, but in the mean time, what do you think so far? Like any of these designs pictured? Interested in attending any of the workshops?
